Dear all, As we are finalising the Framework and Guidelines, we would like to invite you to share your reflections and inputs based on your Year 3 activities. We kindly ask each partner to send your feedback by the end of May (M33) so your inputs can be incorporated into our deliverables (Due M35) . As a personal note, I also wanted to let you know that I will be leaving my position at the end of April. It has been a real pleasure working with all of you over the past years. I’m proud of what we have achieved together and excited to see the successful conclusion of the project. From May onwards, I will be joining the School of Design at Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and I hope our paths come across again in the future. Fyi: a ppt for the slot on a critical review of DT: towards the ExtenDT2 workshop on Design Thinking in Education

Verevi concerning the critical reflections of employing DT in schools so far (i.e. without digital technologies) if u agree we could discuss it as part (a slot) of the workshop or even in a special meeting or both in it you will find links to videos concerning and showcasing DT in schools (which can be used in the workshop addressing teachers), the list of references from which the review was drawn and a last slide with some bullets pointing to ways in which we can use this info to show why the extendt2 'solution' can address the criticisms and go far beyond the state of the art for DT in schools there's 3 layers, the first slide (n.2) is the theme titles, then another layer (nos. 3-6) with one page for each theme and then analytical slides with the points in each theme of course, the extendt2 'solution' is something to be built and refined by all so consider this as a clunky start if u like we can undertake to write up an academic version of this review and include it in a respective deliverable but this will take some time as u can imagine so - thanks to Alkistis best regards c btw - Alkisti's expertise is educational sociology ps - maybe we should do the same for digital media in education, i.e. a critical review and show how the extendt2 solution addresses some of those problems? just a thought. this would mean that extendt2 addresses the problems of each of the DTs individually by means of bringing them together in a unique form of integration to form dt2

WP5-Year 3: Tiers of technologies and Activity Plans

We wanted to share with you the following updates regarding this year's interventions (WP5): First of all, as agreed during our meeting in Dublin, here you can find the extended technologies organized into three tiers based on their readiness levels. Here you can find the activity plan template for this year. For this cycle, it would be necessary to have the activity plans finalized by the end of the year. When your activity plan is finalized, you can upload it here. Please, include the intervention code in the title of the document (f.e NTNU0301, where 03 stands for the 3rd year and 01, 02 etc. for the first, second etc. intervention of the year). Finally, please do not forget to update this table with information regarding interventions so that we can keep track of our numbers. Exten DT2: Cleaning the LA data

Hi All, We would like to clean up learning analytics data which are NOT real data from the learning activities (school interventions data) and were collected from September 2023-October 2024. We would like to ask each partner to go through learning activities which collected LA data and give us the names of those which can be removed to have more storage space for the school intervention in Year cycle 3. You can see these learning activities which has data using the dashboard, when you login with Teacher role, click Analytics button, and the table with available learning activities will be shown. If you know that some activities were created only for test purpose and do not contain any meaningful data (no school interventions), please let us know the name of the learning activity and we will delete these LA data. Update on deliverable 5.3 and its Appendixes

Dear All You may have received a notification on the portal that D5.3 has been rejected. This was a request from our side to the EC because we needed to make changes to its Appendixes*, following the discussion at the August OMT meeting. Thank you to Marinathi, for following through on this: “”The changes are based on information received from each partner about publication of Activity Plans. All teachers agreed for the Activity Plans to be published. Some of them are anonymized, some include the name of the teachers as authors or other information as required”. Re, D5.3: I have updated our PO, that: * They have been some minor modifications to the Appendixes submitted in August * A further Appendix was added (previously we had Appendixes A-S, now we have Appendixes A-T) * The main report of D5.3 and its Appendixes were OK with the consortium to be publicly shared now Following the requested “rejection” from our side, attached is the replacement document that has been now uploaded on the portal. Reference to the Appendixes, which needed changing in the main D5.3 Report, are on pp 5, 15 and 25. Please note due to the size of the main D5.3 Report (> 50 MB) and its Appendixes, neither could be uploaded on the portal. Instead, the short document with links was uploaded. We should aim to avoid this with our remaining deliverables. Action needed: Questionnaires to be distributed for improving the ExtenDT2 Framework and Guidelines

Dear all, As shared earlier, a questionnaire has been designed to collect feedback for improving the ExtenDT2 Framework and Guidelines. This questionnaire is ready to use now. It takes about 30 minutes to complete. No personally identifiable info will be recorded. The target groups for distributing this questionnaire include teachers, educational researchers, policymakers, education practitioners, education technologists, and education designers. So far, we’ve collected about 104 responses and hopefully will report some preliminary results for the mid-term review. Dear All I have informed our PO that after a first informal check with our consortium no conflicts of interest were noted for either Markus Vincze or Davinia Hernández-Leo as being the expert reviewers for our M18 review. Thea, her team, and Manolis are now planning preparatory information for the two-day physical meeting meeting (17-18 April in Milton Keynes/OU) and the one-day M18 review (19 April at UCL/London). * This will provide info on logistics, transport and hotel recommendation when they are have had time to look into this. * As soon as this information is available we will let you know, so please be patient until then! If you are planning to attend, do please start populating this participants list<https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1D6qYEURrVl5JDqoW6OCg2fWBM-cHCZHVngk…> before the end of next Friday, so we have an idea of numbers. Athens Project Meeting - Dinner Menu Choices
