I really do not like the huge overbearing black banners of the first page - looks like a eulogy... both size and color are not good - a first screen doesnt even get down to the last banner... put them somewhere else - maybe horizontal bars on top? or can u find another way? maybe have the contents of the first banner as front page? also - I think only ONE person from each partner should be put down as 'led by' at this level the names and roles in each respective group belong somewhere further in otherwise super best c Στις 4/11/2022 8:47 π.μ., ο/η Christothea.Herodotou έγραψε:

Dear Thea, Here are a few comments -On the top of the page there is a black banner that leads me to Wordpress tools. I don't know if this appears to everyone or only just me that I have a WordPress account but it is confusing. In any case, it shouldn't appear (See the attached image) -I suggest having the project logo on the upper left, visible at all times - In "the Team" section I suggest having the logo of each partner next to their names - In the news section if it is possible for each "announcement"/post to have a share button so we can share it and have more clicks on the website Are we going to have a Facebook page as well? much better now - let's try to find a metaphorically appropriate picture and also we have a very short text which has just been created by cordis to showcase extendt2 maybe add onto the first page? here's the text The ABCs of Design Thinking with Emerging Technologies andthen maybe a popup with this (also cordis): Design thinking is a key component of project-based learning. As a pedagogical approach, design thinking can be progressive and conducive for transformative learning as part of a human-centred problem-solving approach. In this context, the EU-funded Exten.D.T.2 project will use emerging technologies to enhance pedagogical value, sustainable digitisation and the potential for wide deployment of design thinking. Specifically, it will use design-based research to support pedagogical transformation based on established home-grown expressive digital media enhanced by artificial intelligence, augmented reality, 3D printing and scanning as well as virtual robotics. Hi Thea Big opinions: 1) This website appears VERY differently on mobile Chrome. When I first saw it on my phone (last Friday), I thought it looked like a website from the early 2000s. Desktop Chrome is much better, or perhaps that's just a newer version - but worth checking how it looks on mobile browsers. 2) The description of the project is quite opaque (not a problem restricted to this site, but in general). I have had a couple of meetings with people external to the project in recent weeks - including a teacher, developer and academic. Each has told me that ahead of the meeting they have done a Google search to find out about the project and found the descriptions online haven't made much sense (inaccessible language, overly complex ideas, etc). The project description works for a proposal but I think we should carefully consider the audience(s) this website is designed for and how to grab and maintain their interest. I'd be happy to help write a Plain English description if you like. Small opinions: 1) The 'call for teachers', 'news', etc headers should be hyperlinked, not just the picture and text. 2) I quite like the black (sorry Chronis), but perhaps make that banner thinner? 3) The initial picture doesn't fit the topic. It doesn't instantly link to education or emerging tech por design thinking. I do think it adds to Chronis' feeling that it is a eulogy. 4) I think we should have a holding image for 'resources for teachers' and 'resources for researchers' (and possibly for policy makers and edtech designers), similar to the one for publications.
