Open Learn Course - Beginning of Pilot

Dear All, As discussed in the OMT meeting yesterday, we are launching the Exten(D.T.)2 Open Learn Create course ‘Teaching Design Thinking with Emerging Technologies’ today for a pilot. For the pilot, we will have two teacher participants from each partner country enrolled the course and completed it. Participants can access the course via this link: www.open.edu/openlearncreate/ExtenDT2<http://www.open.edu/openlearncreate/ExtenDT2> And in the ‘Information for participants’ sheet in this folder<https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/118zwZg0xRgHgrFQI7P13MH-NpekHJpUB?us…>, you can find a brief tutorial on how to enrol the course. You can send this sheet to the interested participants. Open Learn Course - Teaching Design Thinking with Emerging Technologies

Exten DT2: Cleaning the LA data

Hi All, We would like to clean up learning analytics data which are NOT real data from the learning activities (school interventions data) and were collected from September 2023-October 2024. We would like to ask each partner to go through learning activities which collected LA data and give us the names of those which can be removed to have more storage space for the school intervention in Year cycle 3. You can see these learning activities which has data using the dashboard, when you login with Teacher role, click Analytics button, and the table with available learning activities will be shown. If you know that some activities were created only for test purpose and do not contain any meaningful data (no school interventions), please let us know the name of the learning activity and we will delete these LA data. TCD follow-up: Event to engage teacher participants in sharing their experiences

Hello Everyone, I hope you are keeping well. As discussed briefly in TCD meeting (also in the OU meeting), can we organise an event (either of one or two days) in which we will bring teacher participants participated in the Exten(DT)2 project up until now from all countries together to make them share their experiences? The purpose of this event will be to: * Create a multi-country platform for teachers to share their learnings from participating in the Exten(DT)2 project; * Record their experiences and suggestions that can be helpful resources to support Y3 implementation; and * Engage teachers in a post-implementation activity which can function as a stimulated recall to trigger them to further implement DT project in their classroom settings independently. And of course, this will help us in reporting around sustainability as we are not leaving teachers after they implement but we are following them up and helping them to build a wider teachers network. For this, I propose the dates as 28th and 29th November, Thursday, and Friday (maybe of a 4-hour session each day) We can ask each one to share their experiences in 15 minutes which will be followed by 10 minutes Q and A.
