Hi all,
Since this year some teachers will be using the dashboard and all of them
the platform, we should discuss what differs from last year regarding
ethics and data collection and whether or not we need to change the
informed consents. If we need to, will TCD update them, as last year, and
each partner translates them?
Best,
Marianthi

Hello Marianthi,
Thanks for your detailed answers that help us to plan for Y3.
Is there any chance to get some ideas on an improved activity plan by next Thursday (I assume you won’t be able to come up with a full version very soon). We are dealing with the activity plan next Friday during induction with one of the teachers here. In case you can’t say what it is going to be like at this stage, we will use the last year’s plan.
Re. Integration of nQuire and Exten(DT)2 credentials – I don’t think it will take place based on the discussion we had as regards this issue last year. Filothei and Socratis can add to it more. Also, I will check with our technical team and come back to you.
Best,
Sagun

Hi Sagun,
I don't know why but I never received your original email about Y3 OU intervention.
To answer your question, based on what we have discussed so far the changes to Y2 reg. school interventions are the following:
- We will probably collect only survey (and interview?) data for quantitative analysis. Waiting for a confirmation from TCD
- Students will have to use the extended technologies (can be the ones from last year) through the extendt2.com<http://extendt2.com/> platform and the NQuire in at least on phase(This is not a change, just a reminder)
- In some interventions (ideally most of them) we would like teachers to use the dashboard/Learning Analytics, something that we will discuss thorough during the Dublin meeting
- Teachers, if they want, can use Activity Plans from Year 2 and adapt/improve them accordingly.
- We will have an improved Activity Plan Template for year 3, with not many changes, but mainly addressing some complexity issues and being in alignment with the online versions.
I think that's it for now.
By the way, do you know if there will be an integration of NQuire and Extendt2.com credentials so teachers and students don't have to use multiple log in accounts?
Best,
Marianthi

Dear All,
I hope all of you had a lovely summer.
At this stage, we are planning for Y3 intervention since it demands buy-ins of teachers and students larger than of Y2. As a part of preparation, we are conducting an induction session with one of the teachers this Friday. Please, let us know if we need to take anything specific into account apart from number of participants this year. Thanks.
Best,
Sagun
Dear all,
Filothei have prepared the feedback collection document: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1CVBPVh5NOlLvclHJy45i2Rt6Pl9BSwWSunz…
Please, use it to give us (WP4 partners) specific feedback on technologies used in Year 2 interventions.
*Note you need to select the Sheet name with correct partner name.
Your contribution is needed because:
a) We will use it to improve the ExtenDT2 Platform before Year 3 interventions.
b) We need to report it in the Deliverable 4.3 before the end of September.
It would be great if you have it done by Sunday 15/09.
Thank you for your great cooperation!
Best wishes,
Filothei and Alisa
Dear Marianthi, dear Thea,
Cc OMT Team, as you will probably also have received this for information, and a similar one for D3.1.
This is Angel, our PO , ”re-opening up” the two deliverables on SyGMA , i.e, he has to reject the original v1 for both D3.1 and D5.1 so I can upload new updated versions in their place.
For everyone’s information: In SygGMA/EC Portal each deliverable title can only have one document uploaded against it .
In our project both D3.1 and D5.1 had second/final version due in M24, according to the application, as have a number of other deliverables.
(So we will need to go through this confusing “rejection” process, with other deliverables that have initial and second/final versions).
Hope this all makes sense.
Please inform your other team members who are not part of OMT.
Re D5.3
In any case we have heard from Angel, he seems happy with the progress of our project, and he seems fine that we will contact him again about D5.3 and its appendices towards the end of September.
Best regards
Shamim

Hi Marianthi, Sofia, and All,
Thank you, at LNU, we believe the most practical and appropriate approach is as follows:
Each partner should respond directly to Marianthi, confirming whether or not it is acceptable to include their respective teachers' Activity Plans (APs) in the appendices, or advise of any further action required. This allows each partner to consult further with their teachers if needed.
To summarize:
- NKUA: 8 APs to confirm
- Katrien/UGent: 4 APs to confirm
- Sagun (in Thea’s absence): 2 APs to confirm
- Sofia/NTNU: 3 APs to confirm
- LNU/Marcelo: 1 AP to confirm
- TCD/Jake: 1 AP to confirm
The attached appendices should remain confidential for now.
I have removed the link in the D5.3 just shared with all our consortium
However, they were submitted to the EC Portal on Thursday, April 29, I have written to our PO to request that they be kept confidential temporarily. I have also informed him that we may need to make adjustments to the appendices and replace the link in the main deliverable.
This should not pose any issues.
We do need to address this as soon as possible though, and we should be ready to update him by the end of September if any changes are required.
Best regards,
Shamim

Subject: [Extendt2_omt] Re: Reg. usage of Activity Plans in Del
Hi Marianthi,
Thank you for following up on this.
It depends on a few factors, for example in what each teacher gave consent, what they want (e.g. maybe they want their name to be written or not, or anything else), who wrote the activity plan (for example in some are only the researchers), how it is the process in each country etc....
So, it should be checked for the shared activity plans if and how they can appear publicly.
For NTNU, for two of the activity plans it should be fine (I will confirm as soon as possible), but in the third one, the names and a source (since it is used also by master students) should be added (I will give information).
Best,
Sofia
.ps I downloaded the deliverable from the shared folder and the links are not "clickable" except from the project's one, but maybe I do something wrong

Dear all,
I don't know if this can cover us regarding the usage of teachers' Activity Plans in public reports, but in the consent forms writes that the collected data from the teacher includes
"Lesson activity plans and any supporting materials"
and then in the data usage section says that
"De-identified data may be used in reports, presentations and other research outputs, in which a randomly assigned pseudonym will be used."
So maybe we are ok? I don't know, what do you think?
Best,
Marianthi
