Dear All,
I hope you are keeping well in this chill weather!
The last newsletter<https://extendt2.eu/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/extendt2-newsletter-july-202…> we published was in July, and now it’s the time to bring out another one as we are publishing it quarterly. So may I request you to insert any news or information that you would like to include in the upcoming newsletter in this Google Doc<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1BzYKnFbHc-c1jfQ_Qy-35jVvhn7w7lL7Oa7LIa5…>, please? Could you do it by the 10th of December?
P.S. Our plan is to publish it before the Christmas Break. Thanks.
With kind regards,
Sagun
Hi all
It looks like I'm going to be out of action the rest of this week as both
my son and husband have a vomiting bug.
To Thea, Sophia and Katrien - I have been following up on your suggestions
regarding 21st C skills. If you (or anyone on this list) has some example
mappings of DT and 21stC skills, then I would appreciate the links.
We are trying to avoid reinventing the wheel when it comes to the
instruments but so far we are struggling to identify already
validated instruments which are sufficiently broad AND concise.
Hopefully I can give this more attention next week.
@Filothei Chalvatza <filothei.chalvatza(a)gmail.com> I will email you to
arrange a meeting once I know I am in good health - if you haven't heard
from me by Monday, feel free to pester
Hoping everyone else is keeping well!
All the best,
Carina

Dear All
Fyi:
* Marcelo and I had a meeting with Angel, our PO, last Friday to discuss the M18 review.
* For our project there will be two expert reviewers who will be able to travel and be there physically.
* If train travel is allowable for Angel he may join physically, but currently more likely by zoom.
* We should count on the review lasting ca 6-7 hours including lunch.
We proposed to Angel that we have the M18 review in conjunction with our next 6 monthly physical meeting: two days for our physical meeting to include a rehearsal (if time?); and the third and final day for the review which will likely need to be attended by WP leaders/OMT members.
Based on current availability for Thea, Manolis and Marcelo we will suggest the following dates to Angel:
* 25-27 March 2024 (27thApril being the date of the review)
* 17-19 April 2024 (19th April being the date of the review)
We will work on logistics - how much time we spend at Milton Keynes and in London, etc. - when we have confirmation of dates from the PO. Note he will have to find and check availability of reviewers etc.
* Please block the above dates in your diary for now, and share with the rest of your team members
* If anyone has strong preferences for any of the dates (i.e., the other timespan is not possible for you) please respond on this thread by Wednesday 12.00 CET.
* Angel would also welcome any names of reviewers which would not put anyone in our consortium in a conflict of interest.
Best regards,
Shamim
Dear All
Please note the OMT meeting this month is cancelled.
This is due to Marcelo travelling this Friday. Next week is not good either, as I will be in Brussels from Tuesday-Friday for the final review of the H2020 project I have been working on.
If you need to discuss anything urgent this month, we hope you can convene a WP meeting with appropriate members.
The final OMT meeting for this year will be on Friday Dec 15th 13.30-15.00 CET .
We can extend this by half an hour depending on the number of items requested for discussion.
Best regards
Shamim
Dear all,
Below are 2 different ways to access the extended technologies. We can
discuss them in tomorrow's meeting, along with any feedback for the tools
A) *Access all tools through the Extendt2 platform* (needs to create an
activity with a tool first)
-Needs to log in either as an educator and create an activity with one tool
or as a student and use a created activity.* See basic instructions in the
attached PDF. *
-Saves progress online
-Gathers learning analytics data (when logged in as a student and doing a
certain activity)
This way should be used in the interventions and maybe in
professional development.
*Extendt2 platform URL*
https://extendt2.com/ <https://extendt2.com/>
B) *Direct access to each tool separately.*
- Doesn't need to log in.
- Doesn't save activities online. Doesn't gather user data
This way can be used for quick access to the tools in cases it is not
convenient for people to create accounts and log in e.g. dissemination,
quick presentation, big workshops etc.
URLS to the stand-alone tools:
*MaLT2-Ext (with 3D printing)*
https://extendt2.com/widgets/malt2ext/
*ChoiCo-Ext (with Geo-location)*
https://extendt2.com/widgets/choico/
*SorBET-Ext (with gesture recognition)*
https://extendt2.com/widgets/sorbetExt/
*GearBots*
https://extendt2.com/widgets/gears/
Please forward this information to anyone from your team might needs it
See you tomorrow
Best,
Marianthi
Dear All
I have had some correspondence with Thea.
As the topics below mostly relate to teacher training materials, which span several WP interdependencies, Thea will run the meeting on Friday.
It will not be an OMT meeting, per se.
For the OMT:
* The main update from LNU (WP1) was the meeting with the PO last Friday to discuss the M18 review, which you have received a full update via email.
* No other topics were proposed for an “OMT” agenda.
I hope the meeting on Friday goes well.
Alisa will be there from LNU, a little bit later if not at the start, and you are welcome to use the zoom link below as long as you need it.

Dear all,
I share below topics for discussion on Friday – if you have any material ready pls share for review before the meeting.
* Activity plan: you can find it here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/18btTIGp_xBH52Zs2SVyS6F0-o9W2XfKz/edit
* Manuals for each technology (and videos): pls share
* DT model new version: see slide 27 https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1M-9g_wRqg6whPUXOBxz23nEzYHDVIyQOBvA…
* How to access new versions of technologies for testing: it would be great if we could have the URLs to try them
* Examples we can use in the slides for teachers: we need one activity for Sorbet, one for Malt2 and one for virtual robotics (similar to the Choico one, used in the slides)
* Extendt2 platform – pls log in and provide @filothei.chalvatza@gmail.com<mailto:filothei.chalvatza@gmail.com> and @Sokratis Karkalas<mailto:sokratis.karkalas@gmail.com> with any feedback as to how to improve the design/log in process/access to tools.
Best,
Thea
