– Beyond the transformation –
We are pleased to announce that the registration for LundOnline has opened!
LundOnline is a two-day conference arranged by Lund University Libraries, aimed at college and university librarians from the Nordic countries and invited publishers and will take place on the 9th to 10th of November at AF-borgen<https://www.afborgen.se/?lang=en> in the centre of Lund. The conference is sponsored by publishers and free of charge for participants.

The theme
Transformative agreements have become the most common type of agreements between university library consortia and publishers. Though these deals have increased the amount of Open Access journal articles it is still considered, as the name suggests, to be a process towards something else. This year’s program will address changes in the scholarly communication landscape, specifically looking ahead at what lies beyond the transformative agreements. In terms of transforming the publishing landscape towards Open Access, what is achieved by the Read & Publish agreements?
* What can stakeholders in scholarly publishing do to further this transformation? Are there alternatives to the transformative model?
* How can publishers accommodate to different funder requirements?
* How do Open Access publishing models harmonize with research funders’ requirements?
* How are researchers’ publishing strategies affected by the changing publishing landscape?
LundOnline will be an opportunity for scholarly communication stakeholders to meet, discuss and present their views on current challenges related to publishing and scholarly communication. The aim of the conference is to be a forum for networking, and this year’s program will focus on interactivity and dialogue.

Du som arbetar i kommunal eller regional biblioteksverksamhet är välkommen på konferensen Träffpunkt biblioteksplaner i höst!
Konferensen är digital och anordnas av KB i samarbete med MTM, Kulturrådet och de regionala biblioteksverksamheterna den 19 oktober.
Temat den här gången blir processen att utarbeta en biblioteksplan och följa upp den. KB kommer att presentera en vägledning i processen, som har utarbetats i samråd med kommunal och regional biblioteksverksamhet, Skolverket, MTM och Kulturrådet. Andra teman bli Agenda 2030 och barnrättsperspektiv.

Save the date - nätverksträff för fjärrlån
Vi ses den 22-23 november på nya campus Mälardalens universitet i Eskilstuna. Träffen kommer att vara en lunch till lunchträff.
Det finns inget spikat program med tider ännu, men bland annat kommer Tullverket tillbaka och kommer mer konkret att prata om hur man fyller i blanketter och hur man undviker att betala tull på sitt eget material. KB kommer och pratar om en förstudie som görs under hösten kring Libris användartjänster, Umeå berättar om enkäten de skickat ut om hur vi jobbar med fjärrlån. Utöver det kommer tid att finnas till gruppdiskussioner t.ex. utefter vilket bibliotekssystem man har och frågor som rör fjärrlån där.
Vi återkommer efter sommaren med länk till anmälan och mer spikade tider.
Hoppas att ni alla är peppade att ses IRL!
