Hi Sagun,
Find my answers below
1. When you say that students must use extended versions of the tools,
and their extended functionalities this year, I was wondering how pupils
will use geolocation/traffic data in ChoiCo if they are exploring an issue,
such as energy consumption in their school. I understand that for our
research purpose this year, we want them to use extended version, but shall
we also remain a bit open for their selection on whether to use a static
picture or geolocation/traffic data in ChoiCo? Of course, we will ask them
to use the extended functionalities.
I am afraid of the risk of not having any students using the new version of
ChoiCo in their projects. One solution could be to focus on issues that can
be related to the geolocation or traffic data in ChoiCo e.g. air pollution,
means of transportation (for the traffic) or hidden places in the city or
nature that arent visual on the maps and students go out and discover them
(e.g. in a park or in their neighborhood). For example, they could use the
google maps to depict different types of energy production in their
city/country ( wind generators, factory, solar panels etc). It is important
to evaluate these functionalities and show their added value for learning

2. I still don’t find where the game is being saved in the
Extendt2.com platform. I uploaded the ChoiCo game that I created and saved
it. Next, the message popped up on my screen stating that it was
successful; however, I could not find the game on the platform. Is the task
around developing saving functionality still being carried out?
If you are working with a teacher account you should be able to find the
game in your activities. The process is that you click "create an
activity", select "ChoiCo" in the tools dropdown, then edit the activity
(e.g. upload the game), save it online. Then by going to activities, you
will be able to find it there. So what do you see if you go to your
activities?
1. User Journey: In its current form, in the
ExtenDT2 platform, it
seems to me that the teacher will create an activity and a group, and
he/she will assign an activity to a particular group. While doing so,
he/she will be able to link only one tool to an activity. I was wondering
whether there will be no choice for students to use either tool to explore
the issue as only one tool is associated per activity? Moreover, provided
that nQuire for students is integrated, how can a teacher link nQuire for
students and one more other tool to the activity. In this case, will a
teacher develop another activity having almost a similar name?
Apologies for sending a lot of queries. But what I think is that we need
to gain clarity on these issues as early as possible.
Best,
Sagun

Dear all,
Regarding* Y2 interventions* I would like to remind you that:
1) Students have to use *the extended version**s* of the tools and their
extended functionalities (i.e. 3D printing in MaLT2, geolocation/traffic
data in ChoiCo, body interaction in SorBET). This must also be visible in
Y2 *Activity Plans*
2) The interventions need to be done *through the
extendt2.com
<http://extendt2.com/> platform*, which means teachers have to create an
account, create student groups, set up an activity with one of the tools,
assign it to student groups etc.
3) Capturing *user data* and representing them in the *LA dashboard* *doesn't
happen automatically.* Teachers (or we) need to do some settings for the
activity we want to capture the data before students start using it.
If you have any questions regarding the tools and the platform, please let
me or Philothei know
Best,
Marianthi
