Now Accepting Global SI Leader Summit Session Proposals!
The International Center for Supplemental Instruction invites student leaders to submit session proposals<https://info.umkc.edu/si/2027-proposals/> for the Global SI Leader Summit, taking place March 19 - 20, 2027. The Global SI Leader Summit brings student leaders and student success professionals from around the world together to share ideas, exchange experiences, and explore the many ways SI/PASS supports student learning and success.
Presenters can choose between Effective SI Practice Interactive Sessions, 45-minute sessions, and Lightning Sessions, 20-minute sessions. The submission window for session proposals opens on October 1 and closes Friday, December 4, 2026.
Recognizing the important role student leaders play in shaping the SI/PASS experience, sessions should be led at least 75% by student leaders, with professional and academic staff welcome to co-present and support proposal development. We recognize that conference presentations are new to many students. Therefore, we are offering optional Developing a Strong Session Proposal Workshops to support student leaders in developing their session ideas and proposals.

Dear SI-PASS colleagues,
We hope that the start of the academic year is treating you well.
We would be grateful if you could share the below opportunity with colleagues who may be interested in becoming SI-PASS Supervisors.
We are pleased to invite participants to our new hybrid SI-PASS Supervisor Training, hosted by the European Centre for SI-PASS at Lund University.
Dates:
📍 Lund: 12-13 November 2026
💻 Online: 26 November & 3 December 2026
This new format offers the opportunity to meet colleagues face-to-face, experience the European Centre for SI-PASS firsthand, and build valuable professional connections, while reducing travel and accommodation costs compared to a traditional three-day in-person event.
To make travel easier, the in-person programme starts at 10:30 on Day 1 and ends at 15:00 on Day 2, allowing many participants to travel on the same days. Lund is also easily accessible via direct trains to/from Copenhagen Airport and Sweden's rail network, and offers easy access to Malmö and Copenhagen for those wishing to extend their stay.
The training covers the same comprehensive content as our established SI-PASS supervisor training, including the foundations of the SI-PASS model, programme implementation, and programme support, monitoring and evaluation. The ~1100 EUR (13,300 SEK) course fee includes training, materials, lunches and refreshments during the in-person days, and ongoing support through the European SI-PASS community, invitations to regular discussion sessions, and shared resources.
Learn more about the training and register on our website <https://www.si-pass.lu.se/form/si-pass-supervisor-training-november-2026-lu…> Registration closes on October 23rd
We hope to welcome new participants to Lund this November.
Best wishes,

Dear colleagues,
Apologies for cross-posting.
We are sending a reminder of the 2026 International Forum for Peer Learning and Support <https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/url41.mailanyone.net/scanner?m=1vAm1c-00…> as Call for Proposals closes 5pm on 16th February 2026, and this month we are offering a free webinar to support any students who would like to submit a proposal to present, and any staff who are thinking about submitting a proposal for the first time. At this webinar, you will be given the opportunity to explore how the work you do in the field of peer learning and support can translate into a meaningful conference session, linked to the conference themes.
Queen Margaret University prides itself on student partnership, and we are keen to encourage student representation at the Forum. While this webinar is open to all prospective presenters, if you have a student you feel would be interested in presenting, please guide them towards this support opportunity. In the true ethos of peer support, part of the session will be split, with students being giving an opportunity to work with other students who have previously presented at the Forum, while staff will continue discussions separately.
