Call for Contributions
The 2025 Forum themes aligned with a recent Advance HE Student-led peer learning and support publication<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/url6.mailanyone.net/scanner?m=1uRTbs-000âŠ> and included: transition into university, collaboration through co-creation, and diverse student populations.
If you would like to submit a proposal for the 2026 Forum for a presentation, creative workshop, or lightning talk, we will be posting the themes and putting out a call for contributions when registration opens in September 2025.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch. Otherwise, we look forward to welcoming you to Edinburgh in May 2026.

The purpose of the Strategic Plan is to guide the direction and priorities of our work as a European Centre for SI-PASS, and to support the community of practice.

Hej Eriko,
Idealiskt skall man nog undvika att anvÀnda doktorander som SI-ledare. Det blir lite för stor skillnad mellan deltagarna och SI-ledaren dÄ.
Men det Àr inget som förbjuder det.
SÄ ni fÄr göra en egen bedömning. Om det t.ex. Àr svÄrt att hitta en annan SI-ledare sÄ kan ni sÄklart fortsÀtta med den ni har Àven om han blir doktorand.
En annan möjlighet Àr att rekrytera en ny SI-ledare och be doktoranden att agera stöd till den nya SI-ledaren.
Sedan beror det ocksÄ lite pÄ vilken kurs som de skall ges SI pÄ.
Om det Àr en nybörjarkurs Àr kanske steget för stort att ha en doktorand. Om det Àr en kurs pÄ kandidat-nivÄ eller avancerad nivÄ skulle jag sÀga att det Àr mindre problematiskt.
Det viktiga Àr dock att försöka se till att SI-ledaren inte tar rollen som lÀrare och dÀrmed gör studenterna passiva. Men om ni tror att det gÄr med den SI-ledare ni har sÄ Àr det inget problem.
Och nÄgot förbud mot att anvÀnda doktorander finns inte, sÄ ni bestÀmmer sjÀlva vad ni tror Àr lÀmpligt.
Vi har tidigare haft doktorander som varit SI-ledare. (NÄgon av pedagogik-institutionerna hade en doktorand som var SI-ledare för en kurs pÄ avancerad nivÄ).

The sessions are suitable for institutions interested in starting SI-PASS, or new staff members / interested colleagues at institutions that are already involved in the programme.
