Gregg Mitman, Rachel Carson Center Munich, is seeking a student in the Stockholm area who is fluent in Swedish, to assist with conducting archival research in the Gränges collections of Riksarkivet and other archival collections, as part of his Munich-based ERC project Fragments of the Forest<https://fragmentsoftheforest.com/>: Hot Zones, Disease Ecologies, and the Changing Landscape of Environment and Health in West Africa.
The offer is a fixed term contract of 250 hours maximum, to be spent flexibly but with some availability in the week of November 20 (week 47) for an initial meeting. Hej idéhistoriker,
Här kommer datum för kommande upplaga av den nationella idéhistoriska konferensen På gång, som denna gång arrangeras i Umeå. Konferensen ligger torsdag-fredag 10-11 oktober 2024.
Som vanligt ger vi i anslutning till konferensen även en doktorandkurs om 7,5 hp, "Nya trender och praktiker inom idéhistoria". Kursen går samma vecka 7-11 oktober och konferensen ingår som en del. Om behov finns kan kursen, helt eller delvis, ges på engelska. Kursbeskrivningen på svenska och engelska finns i bifogad fil.
Vi hoppas att vi får träffa många idéhistoriker i Umeå nästa höst!
