Dear all,
This is both and invitation and a request.
This year marks 75 years since Gunnar Fant founded TMH as Taltransmissionslaboratoriet in 1951. We're celebrating that with an event on the afternoon and evening of August 17. Our ambition is to welcome everyone with a connection to TMH, but in order to prepare (and there is _some_ kind of upper limit of number of participants as well), we would appreciate if anyone who wishes to participate could register, preferably as soon as possible): https://www.sprakbanken.speech.kth.se/tmh75/jubilee/register.html
In addition, we're hoping that those of you who have memories, materials, congratulations to share would do so. There is a form where you can upload everything from written memories to video messages, old audio recordings and other materials, to simple congratulations: https://www.sprakbanken.speech.kth.se/tmh75/contribute/submit.html
Naturally, you can also just contact us directly: me, for example at edlund(a)speech.kth.se
Hope to see many of you on August 17th!
Jens
PS: you should also note that Nordic Prosody takes place at KTH the following days: August 18-20. Registration opens shortly - see https://npxiv.nordicprosody.org/
