Dear All
Attached are the guidelines (attachment 1) and template slides (attachment 2) for preparing your slides for the M18 Review<https://drive.google.com/file/d/17nMC3WOKj0TeitHeV_Dks2TSsSGan7BC/view?usp=…> and the rehearsals on April 5 and April 10<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1UP0nwIE4TrwfgOHbPqKOmkcf7g-xlYeF/edit?u…>.
Please use the information you provided in your WP technical reporting as the basis to prepare your slides.
Fyi (Status on reporting) :
1. A draft of the main body of technical reporting (excl reporting on use of resources*) will be available later next week which you can double check the content of your slides against before the rehearsals.
* Note: the content/details of work and activities described are unlikely to change. Quality control changes will be made for consistency in language, acronyms, and presentation of information across WPs etc.
*Two partners will financially report on SyGMa after easter. Instructions on reporting on use of resources/deviations will follow thereafter.
1. We need to send a full draft technical report (but not the slides) to the expert reviewers early in the week beginning 8th April. It should include some overview financial information for all partners.
2. The formal submission for the reporting, including all aspects of financial reporting is 29th April.
Best regards
Shamim

Dear All
Per #04 inthe minutes sent to you earlier today:
It was agreed to have 2*2-hour on-line rehearsals in early April – followed by a physical rehearsal on Day 1 of the meeting at OU.
Two rehearsal dates and agendas will be proposed based on availability through a doodle.
Here is the related doodle<https://doodle.com/meeting/organize/id/axoDEEPe> to fill in. Note there are six slots in total.
Please fill this in by COB this Friday: 15 March so that dates and agendas for the two on-line rehearsalas (2 hours each) can be fixed early next week.
Note:
* When scheduled, you will only need to present your WP in one of the two one-line rehearsals - but you will be welcome to attend both if you have time. Further instructions and templates to prepare presentations will also follow.
* The agenda for the review is attached for information only (the two on-line rehearsals will cover all slots but it is not necessary to have them in the same order as that on the formal attached agenda).
Best, Shamim
Hi All
Fyi:
(i) In case any of you are not aware – there is an extended deadline for submissions to 5 April.
(ii) Also see the thread below from 11 Jan 2024 on the discussion/info around open access (as related to this particular conference/workshop). This was also brought up at Friday’s OMT meeting.

Dear Taen and all
Horizon Europe rules obligate to publish in Open Access with no embargo period: https://www.openaire.eu/how-to-comply-with-horizon-europe-mandate-for-publi…
Also, in the Grant Agreement, in the Open Access section, you can read the following:
[cid:image001.png@01DA73B0.FD7FA410]
We know this because we had to pay to Springer to open our paper presented in MIS4TEL 2023
Hope this helps.
Regarding MIS4TEL 2024, we agree with the text published.
Thanks for everything, Taen.
Best regards.

Dear all,
I’ve sent an inquiry about open access for our cluster workshop to the MIS4TEL conference, and they informed that their series of Springer is compatible with Green Open Access. The Licensee grants to the Author (i) the right to make the Accepted Manuscript available on their own personal, self-maintained website immediately on acceptance, (ii) the right to make the Accepted Manuscript available for public release on any of the following twelve (12) months after first publication (the "Embargo Period"): their employer’s internal website; their institutional and/or funder repositories. Accepted Manuscripts may be deposited in such repositories immediately upon acceptance, provided they are not made publicly available until after the Embargo Period.
So we can upload the article on own personal website and can publish on public repositories (institutional or funder owners) with an embargo period of 12 months. In those cases, we have to mention the link of the publisher using the DOI.
They can explore other options for the publication, but they think that this conditions are enough in terms of EU funding’s requirements and it is better to publish under Springer because the series is indexed in Scopus directly.
Any comments?
Further, the workshop announcement is published, same as last year. https://www.mis4tel-conference.net/tracks/workshops/etelt. Please let me know if you’d like to make any changes.
Best regards,
Taen

Just one comment regarding this second workshop: As you know, EU funding requires publishing project results in Open Access.
Although we can all access the previous workshop book and chapters without charge via our institutions, apparently they are not fully in Open Access and we wonder if this could be feasible for this second one.
