Hi,
Her comes a status on Tundra project from UNINETT.
1- UNINETT MX-104 router have been configured and is ready for shipping.
2- We didn't receive the NORDUnet MX-240 router but according to Lars it will be
here within this week. We will ship both routers to Utsjok as soon as we have received and
configured the NORDUnet router.
3- The 10G wavelength between Narvik and Alta will be delivered within August 19. We
have to interconnect 10G ports between NORDUnet router and DWDM-transponder in Narvik.
Lars, is the NORDUnet router collocated with ADVA DWDM-shelf? Which port on router should
we use?
4- Installation of routers in Utsjok will happen on Wednesday August 31. I will be
there and do this job. The Finland Telia-cabin is 100 meters away from our node. Janne, do
you know is it possible to visit Telia site and who should we contact if we face some
problem regarding connection over the boarder?

the communication between us and Telia, so don't know, but I will try to

There is no "local" sunet-people in Luleå, I'll check if any work is being
done in Luleå related to the new network so we could highjack them.

I've contacted them again to get hold of the where abouts

There are not connections between the Sunet DWDM and Tundra related stuff. Connection goes
from router directly to broadnet black/white client as agreed on meeting before vacation.
Ports will be assigned next week.
