International Forum for Peer Learning
Zoom Online Event (two half days)
27th and 28th January 2021
Hosted by: The International Academic Peer Learning Network and the European Centre for
SI-PASS
The International Academic Peer Learning Network, and the European Centre for SI-PASS, are
delighted to invite you to attend this online International Forum for Peer Learning on
Wednesday 27th and Thursday 28th January 2021. A call for proposals and presenters,
including student presenters, will be made in November 2020, as well as booking and
programme information.
Building on the highly successful online Forum held in May 2020, this promises to be
another exciting event. In May we welcomed over 100 participants across time zones
including from the UK, Sweden, United States, Ireland, and Australia. Presentations and
discussion forums included topics about moving peer learning online, using technology, the
role of peer learning in widening access to university, and developing student resilience
and wellbeing. There was also time available for networking and informally sharing
institutional peer learning and support practices.
Through attending this 2021 Forum event, you can join like-minded practitioners and
students for stimulating virtual debates and discussions about many aspects of peer
learning. It will be an opportunity to reflect on what has worked well, and what some of
the challenges have been, in the online learning and teaching environment.
Further information will be available in November 2020, including a schedule, call for
proposals, themes, pricing, and timings.
We look forward to seeing you in January!
Best wishes
Catherine McConnell, on behalf of the Forum Organisers
