IMS seminar activities are commencing in September with both a final seminar and a PhD defense in addition to our regular seminar series. On the 1. September from 13.00-15.00 CEST, Joacim Lindh, PhD candidate at IMS, will have his final seminar about his thesis ”Tingsrätten håller huvudförhandling. Språkliga och multimodala perspektiv i brottmålsrättegångar” (preliminary title). Discussant will be professor Andreas Nord, Uppsala university. September from 13.00-16.00 CEST, I myself, Signe Kjær Jensen, PhD candidate at IMS, will defend my PhD thesis ”Musicalized Characters: A study of music, multimodality, and the empiric child perspective on mainstream animation”.
