Dear all,
Welcome to next week’s IMS seminar. IMS, in collaboration with
CHILLL<https://lnu.se/en/research/searchresearch/childhood-research-in-literature-language-and-learning/>,
has invited Sarah Mygind (PhD, Assistant Professor at Comparative Literature and Center
for Children’s Literature and Media, Aarhus University) who will give a presentation on
“Cluster Works: Children’s Literature in Transmedia Motion”
Abstract:
Media works for children and young adults are increasingly designed, produced and
experienced across digital as well as print-based media. These works do not necessarily
exist in a clear hierarchical order with primary and secondary texts, on the contrary, the
texts often work together to create a unified whole. With children’s literature as its
point of departure, this talk will unfold some of the implications of this new transmedia
condition.
