Dear all,
I hope everyone is well!
Since school interventions are going to
start in March for most of us, I would like to ask you to update the School
Interventions Plan excel (spreadsheet Y2) with any recent details
about Year 2 interventions. This will help us have a first idea of our
progress towards meeting our target numbers (see spreadsheet
Targets- Plan).
To avoid an email overload, I would
like to propose that each partner designates a person of contact for this
year's school interventions, of course if possible.
Thank you all in advance,

Dear all,
During our last OMT meeting we talked about formal reporting of the
readiness level (TRL) of the project technologies.
As WP4 we agreed to follow the guidelines of TRL assessment in the concept
of software development for a Research and Innovation Action
-
TRL 3 - Initial script & functions to solve the desired problem.
-
TRL 4 - Alpha version of the software tested internally (both
functionalities and process) by the development team.
-
TRL 5 - Alpha version of the software functionalities tested by
outsiders of the development team.
-
TRL 6 - Beta version of the software functionalities tested by selected
end-user under a control model.
-
TRL 7 - Beta version of the software functionalities widely open to
end-users.
As you can see, the defining factor of TRLs 4,5,6 is testing. Educational
tools are mostly in between TRL4 and TRL5, so (as Marianthi mentioned in a
previous mail) please keep asking questions as you use them.
The ExtenDT2 Platform <https://extendt2.com/> is at TRL5, with the
contribution of people from OU and UGhent who sent valuable feedback, and
needs to enter TRL6 as soon as school interventions start.
To complete TRL5 we need a thorough usability testing by you as end-users.
The attached file (named Platfrom_testing) will introduce you to the
actions the end-user is anticipated to complete within the Platform.
*Actions*
a) For TRL5 we need one member per partner to be responsible for the
process and fill in the evaluation sheet. This person will act as
administrator who will create a new institution account and go through the
process described by the required actions of each table.
b) For TRL6 we need the usability testing to be repeated and the respective
tables of the evaluation sheet to be filled in during or after a school
intervention (maximum two interventions per partner).
Please, consider the above and send your feedback for both TRLs timely, be
critical and explain your thoughts in the "comments" column.

Dear All,
I hope you are keeping well.
I would like to inform you that the Exten(DT)2 flyer is on our website under resources page: https://extendt2.eu/flyer/, which any visitor can download. Thanks to Filothei, who helped to upload it on the site.
Best,
Sagun
Dear Katrien and Sagun and all,
One solution regarding ChoiCo use in Cycle 2 can be the following:
- If teachers/students insist on using the original version (with no
AR/geolocation but static pictures), ask them to use the Learning
Analytics/AI for gathering student data from ChoiCo. (This is an easy
setting that has to be done by you or the teacher in the platform before
the intervention). In that case, we can claim that we tested the Learning
Analytics extension of ChoiCo. So in a way, we use the extended version of
the tool
- However, we need some (not all) implementations with the AR/geolocation
features as well.
Also @all don't forget the virtual robotics tool that we have to use in
some interventions this year and it is also available through the extend2
platform
If you need some guidance with the use of Learning Analytics in ChoiCo (and
other tools) please let me or Philothei know!
Best,

Dear all,
Regarding* Y2 interventions* I would like to remind you that:
1) Students have to use *the extended versions* of the tools and their
extended functionalities (i.e. 3D printing in MaLT2, geolocation/traffic
data in ChoiCo, body interaction in SorBET). This must also be visible in
Y2 *Activity Plans*
2) The interventions need to be done *through the extendt2.com
<http://extendt2.com> platform*, which means teachers have to create an
account, create student groups, set up an activity with one of the tools,
assign it to student groups etc.
3) Capturing *user data* and representing them in the *LA dashboard* *doesn't
happen automatically.* Teachers (or we) need to do some settings for the
activity we want to capture the data before students start using it.
If you have any questions regarding the tools and the platform, please let
me or Philothei know
Best,
Marianthi

Dear All
The M18 review and physical meeting will be on next Friday’s OMT agenda.
If you would like any other agenda please let have them by COB this Monday 15 January.
Best, Shamim
Dear All
Firstly Happy 2024! I hope you have all enjoyed the holiday period and have had a relaxing break.
Re, EC Expert Reviewers: Marcelo and I had a meeting with Angel, our PO yesterday. He has now contacted two further reviewers.
* Markus Vincze: https://www.acin.tuwien.ac.at/staff/vm/
* Davinia Hernández-Leo: http://www.upf.edu/web/davinia-hernandez-leo<https://urldefense.com/v3/__http:/www.upf.edu/web/davinia-hernandez-leo__;!…> and /http://www.upf.edu/web/tide<https://urldefense.com/v3/__http:/www.upf.edu/web/tide__;!!DOxrgLBm!E1lfyiz…> @TIDE_UPF<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/twitter.com/TIDE_UPF__;!!DOxrgLBm!E1lfyi…> (see also attached CV)
We can discuss this further at next Friday’s OMT meeting but we would like to initially check with you that there are no Conflicts of Interest or other grounds for objection. If any, please let me know by Friday 12.00 CET. This so:
* Angel can start further procedures with them.
* Thea/Manolis can prepare further for the physical meeting in UK.
Note:
* April 19 is good for both proposed reviewers, but Davinia would need to leave around 14.30/15.00 to catch a plane to Barcelona, so the review may need to start already at 08.00.
* MV has already pointed out to Angel that he had the ER4STEM project (end date: 30 September 2018) with Chronis and Carina - but this is now out of the 5 year timespan for CoI.
Best regards
Shamim
