Var: NIC1229-Mötesrum (Malmö) Welcome to a seminar with Professor Róisín Ryan-Flood organised by CSS and the Nordic network for LGBTQ+-research on health and living conditions! You are welcome to participate at Niagara in Malmö, Sweden, or online via Zoom: https://mau-se.zoom.us/j/61547185618 Stone Sexuality as Erotic Framework: Boundaries, Agency, and Intimacy Abstract: The term ‘stone’ refers to an erotic identity or orientation characterised by firm boundaries around receiving particular forms of sexual touch, alongside a preference for giving sexual pleasure. Stone identities have long been present within lesbian and queer communities, yet remain under-researched and frequently misunderstood through frameworks that position non-reciprocal erotics as deficit, trauma, or dysfunction. This paper presents findings from a qualitative interview study exploring contemporary experiences of stone identity, including stone butch, stone femme, and relational orientations towards stone sexuality. While ‘stone’ is historically associated with butch identities and butch-femme dynamics, this research moves beyond those categories. Drawing on twenty-five in-depth interviews with stone-identified individuals and people currently or formerly partnered with them, the study examines understandings of identity, erotic boundaries, embodiment, intimacy, and relational ethics. Thematic analysis informed by feminist and queer theory highlights stone identity as a coherent erotic and gendered framework rather than an absence of desire or intimacy. Participants describe stone sexuality through agency, boundary sovereignty, gendered embodiment, and relational attunement, while navigating cultural assumptions about reciprocity, fairness, and sexual norms. Extending scholarship on butch–femme cultures and queer erotics, the findings demonstrate that stone has moved beyond butch–femme dynamics while remaining a meaningful contemporary identity category, challenging dominant sexual norms and contributing to broader debates on consent, embodiment, and erotic diversity. Biographical note: Róisín Ryan-Flood is Professor of Sociology and Director of the Centre for Intimate and Sexual Citizenship (CISC) at the University of Essex. Her research interests include gender, sexuality, kinship, digital intimacies and feminist epistemology. She is the author and editor of numerous books, including Lesbian Motherhood: Gender, Sexuality and Citizenship (2009), Queering Methodology (2022), Difficult Conversations: A Feminist Dialogue (2023), Consent: Gender, Power and Subjectivity (2023), Queering Desire: Lesbians, Gender and Subjectivity (2024) and Stories, Imaginations and Sociology (2026). She is also co-editor of the journal Sexualities: Studies in Culture and Society. Her current writing and research projects explore queer relationality, assisted reproduction and digital intimacy.

New web page, spam and a seminar!

by Kiin Catrine Andersson

Dear all, While preparing and looking forward to the conference in Tampere, we will also do some upgrades to the webpage, it currenly looks like this: https://mau.se/en/research/research-centres/centre-for-sexology-and-sexuali… Instead of links, I will add everyone's title and affiliation to the new version of the page. I have done my best to identify the correct information online, but please look at the attached list and let me know on Sept 24th at the latest if you want to change anything! I know we have been getting some spam to the list, and I am working on resolving that! October the 28th Professor Róisín Ryan-Flood will visit Malmö University to talk about her research project on stone identies. We will arrange a seminar at 13.15-15 CET, which will also be available digitally. I will send out a proper invitation shortly and hope many of you can join! Installing APK file on PC

by theryanmitchell10＠gmail.com

APK files are Android application packages that are originally designed to run on Android devices, but they can also be installed and used on a PC with the help of special tools. Since Windows does not support APK files natively, users need an intermediary platform such as an Android emulator or a subsystem environment to run them properly. This makes it possible to enjoy mobile applications and games on a larger screen with improved performance and easier control using a keyboard and mouse. One of the most common ways to install APK files on a PC is by using an Android emulator such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, or NoxPlayer. These emulators create a virtual Android environment inside your computer, allowing you to run mobile applications just like you would on a smartphone. After installing the emulator, download it from https://royaldreamapks.com you can simply drag and drop the APK file into it or use the built-in installation option to run the app. Once installed, the application appears inside the emulator, ready to use. Another method is available for Windows 11 users through the Windows Subsystem for Android. This feature allows Android applications to run more natively within the Windows environment. In this case, users may need to enable developer mode and use tools like ADB commands to install APK files manually. Although this method is more advanced, it offers better integration and performance compared to traditional emulators. In some limited cases, lightweight APK files can be run through browser-based tools or extensions, but this approach is outdated and not suitable for most modern applications. It is also important to understand that not every APK file will work perfectly on a PC because some apps depend on mobile-specific hardware features like GPS, sensors, or Google Play Services. Overall, installing APK files on a PC is a practical way to access mobile apps on a desktop environment. With the right tools, users can easily run Android applications for gaming, testing, or general use while enjoying the benefits of a larger screen and better system performance.

List of publications

by Catrine Andersson

Dear all, At our last network meeting in November, we discussed exchanging publications more activly within the network - both to highlight our work and to facilitate referencing each other! I offered to collect publications from the last five years as an initial step, and after that everyone is welcome to use the email list to share new publications as they appearö Please send me any publications (of all kinds) from the last five years that are relevant to the network's focus on LGBTQ+ research on health and living conditions (interpreted broadly!). For each publication, please include a full citation to make sure it is easy to list and access for everyone. I will compile the list in a couple of weeks and send it out to everyone! Looking forward to seeing the breadth of research from our members! Warmly, Kiin - - - - - - Kiin Catrine Andersson Associate professor of social work/Docent i socialt arbete Institutionen för socialt arbete, Malmö universitet Hälsa och samhälle, 205 06 Malmö Tfn: 040-665 85 77

Intinya: hindari mod, pakai versi resmi aja biar akun kamu "
