Access to Knowledge: Joining Forces towards Community and Sustainable Publishing
LundOnline explores how libraries, publishers and academic institutions can join forces to
create more sustainable, transparent and community-oriented models for scholarly
publishing.
We are delighted to announce that the conference program is now almost finalised. The
conference will feature keynotes by Samuel Moore on community-led scholarly publishing,
and Katarina Bjelke, Director General of the Swedish Research Council, as well as sessions
on:
* CoARA and research assessment
* Publishers' AI strategies
* Publishing ethics
* Consortiums' changing strategies

Whether you work with scholarly communication, licensing, publishing, open science or
research support, LundOnline offers a unique opportunity to exchange ideas, build networks
and discuss the future of academic publishing together.
When: 14th – 16th October 2026
Where: Lund City Hall, Sweden
The conference is organised by Lund University Library and is aimed at university and
college librarians as well as invited publishers. Participation is free of charge,
including vegetarian lunch, coffee breaks and a social event on the 15th of October.
