LundOnline 2026 – Call for Library Contributions
LundOnline 2026 will take place on the 14th to the 16th of October at Lund City Hall<https://stadshallen.se/> in the centre of Lund. The conference is organised by Lund University Library and is aimed at college and university librarians and invited publishers. The theme for LundOnline 2026 is Access to Knowledge – Joining Forces towards Community and Sustainable Publishing.

This year, we are seeking contributions from librarians involved in projects or initiatives related to scholarly publishing and access to knowledge. More information about topics of interest and how to submit can be found below. We look forward to reading your submissions.
Library‑Led Innovations, Insights and Practices in Scholarly Communication
Are you a librarian working on a project or initiative that promotes transparency, collaboration or sustainability in scholarly communication? With the theme for LundOnline 2026, “Access to Knowledge – Joining Forces towards Community and Sustainable Publishing”, we are seeking contributions that highlight the role of academic libraries and librarians in supporting access to knowledge.
The conference committee invites all librarians and library representatives involved in a project, initiative, or similar activity aimed at improving library services related to scholarly publishing to share their insights during the conference on Thursday, 15th of October, in the form of a 10-minute talk.
We welcome submissions on topics such as sustainability and scholarly publishing, collaboration between scholarly communication stakeholders, publishing incentives, publishing practices, AI and scholarly communication, as well as other themes related to scholarly publishing and academic libraries.
