Dear members and affiliates of IMS Affect,
I hope this finds you well. Ahead of the upcoming get-together of the cluster, I am
re-sending the link to the folder with shared readings as it has now been updated with the
set texts for next time. The theme of this meeting is affect, aesthetics and
intermediality. The aim is to discuss how intermediality could be fruitfully brought
together with current work on cognition, affect and aesthetics.
There are three texts, but I've indicated selected sections that will be particularly
essential for the discussion if you're short on time. There's a document in the
folder that specifies these sections. The document also includes a few questions to think
about if you prefer having such prompts when reading. These are only suggestions for what
we might discuss -- we want these reading seminars to be an open space for thinking
together!
You are especially welcome to relate the readings to whatever primary material you are
working with.
