The editorial board of the e-journal Tidskrift for ABM are happy to announce that the call is open for submissions to this year´s issue of Tidskrift för ABM!
At the Department of ALM at Uppsala University, we publish a e-journal called Tidskrift för ABM. We welcome submissions from students, doctoral students and others working in the fields of Digital Humanities, Archival studies, (Library and) Information studies and Museology/Museum and Cultural Heritage Studies. We accept articles, reviews, notes and travelogues to the journal. We accept texts in both Swedish and English.

Welcome back to a new academic year within the Swedish LIS Doctoral Education Network. We will start this year's activities with a Shut Up & Write session at 1.15pm on Friday 25 August in this Zoom room: https://hb-se.zoom.us/j/68942920214
The session is open to everyone in the network, and offers an opportunity to create focused writing time and also to meet PhD students and senior researchers from all LIS departments in Sweden.
We will run Shut Up & Write the last Friday of every month (except from in December and July), always 1.15pm to 3pm.

Whether you are already on holidays or not, I want to thank you for this last year. It has been great to get to know you and I have been so pleased to see how our six Schools/Departments have been working together to create the Swedish LIS Doctoral Education Network, and the research school ReSource.
The first network activity of the next academic year will be Shut Up & Write on the 25th of August. In September, we will welcome the new ReSource doctoral students. During the 7th to 9th of November, all doctoral students will get a chance to meet at the Writing Retreat at Varbergs Kusthotell. You will get more information about this and other network activities after the summer break.

Hej!
Nu på fredag den 31 mars kl. 13.15-15.00 kör vi Shut Up & Write inom ramen för nätverket för forskarutbildning i biblioteks- och informationsvetenskap. Sessionen kommer att äga rum via zoom: https://hb-se.zoom.us/j/68942920214
Principen är enkel: Under 45 minuter sitter alla deltagare - doktorander och seniora forskare - och skriver under tystnad (med ljudet på mute). Därefter följer en kvarts paus där alla deltagare delas in i breakout rooms och får möjlighet att presentera sig och berätta vilken typ av text de skriver på. Sedan följer ytterligare en skrivsession under 45 minuter.
Deltagande i Shut Up & Write är frivilligt. Du väljer själv vilken typ av text du vill arbeta med - artikelmanus, avhandlingskapitel, bokkapitel eller någon annan typ av text som just nu är aktuell för dig som doktorand eller forskare. Att delta är ett utmärkt sätt att få till koncentrerad skrivtid och också att få träffa doktorander och forskare vid B&I-institutionerna runt om i Sverige.
Vi kör Shut Up & Write sista fredagen i varje månad (med undantag i juli och december), alltid kl. 13.15-15.
