Provider is investigating the issue.
----
* 20220920 16:48 UTC
Update from Provider:
We have localized the damage and managed to narrow down an
area where the damage could have occurred on the cable.
Technicians are on route to surveil the area and see if we
can see any potential source of the damage.
Meanwhile we have contacted subprovider to be ready to
repair the damage.
The damage seems to be in the vincinity of Bergsåkers
Travbana in Bergsåker.
We sincerely apologize for the lack of updates and will
continue to update you with the latest on the repair.
When repairing the damage it will most likely be nessesary
to cut service for a short while in order to repair/resplice
the cable and we will notify you of a timewindow once we
know more.

* 20220920 19:24 UTC
Update from Provider:
We have now been in contact with technicians on site. Our
contractor will need several permits to dig and repair the
fault as the location of the damage is next to a road.
Due to the above, the technicians cannot start
troubleshooting tonight, but will start tomorrow morning
when all permits are in place.
Apologies for the delay and consequence this causes you.
We will update you as soon as we have new information on the
matter.

----
* 20220921 9:40 UTC
Technicians have now gotten what they need to start
troubleshooting, so far they have not managed find any
damage on the cable. They are still troubleshooting the
issue.
----
* 20220921 13:08 UTC
Update from Provider:
We identified the root cause as road workers piercing the
surface of the 96 pair cable and dragging it out of its
shell, causing a macrobend on the cable.
This caused the dampening. We have straightened the cable
out and confirmed with OTDR, own equipment and verifying
with customers that your connections are back to original
values.
We will arrange for a planned works in the future for a
permanent solution, as cutting the service to all customers
in the middle of the day is unviable.
We will get back to you with a formal planned works
notification once this work is planned and ready.
