LAUNCH for the project ‘Moved Apart’.

January 29th 10.00–11.30 CET

A warm welcome to the launch of our six-year project exploring the communication of separation.

Using ego-documents from Japan, Korea, Britain and Scandinavia, this project will explore how different people, in different circumstances expressed being apart during the 16th and 17th century. What did they say who were left behind, going nowhere? Doing so, we hope to contribute to the study of emotions, gender perspectives, and mobility in global history.

Does that sound exciting? Come, and learn more about our ambitions, upcoming events, as well as career opportunities.

For those at Lund University: come to LUX A332. At 11.00 we will sign off, after which there will be an informal discussion, and we will provide a light lunch.
