The IHRS and HL-Senteret warmly welcomes you to the conference Survivors of the Holocaust. Testimonies, Experiences, Narratives in Stockholm on March 12, 2026.

Professor Malin Thor Tureby of Malmö University will give the keynote entitled “From Milk Cans to Holograms. The Survivors and the Making of Nordic Holocaust Historiography and Public Memory”, reflecting on how Holocaust survivors have contributed to documenting and remembering the Holocaust during the last 80 years in a Nordic Context. You are also warmly welcome to the Concert Mir zaynen do! We survived! presented by Judisk kultur i Sverige, the IHRS and the Uppsala research project  “Witnessing for the Future: Holocaust, Sweden and Forgotten Early Testimonies”, funded by the Swedish Research Council, and showcases material brought to light by researcher Simo Muir.
