Dear all

I would appreciate it if you could clarify the following issues with regards to your own country's ethical and data protection regulations:
  1. Automated data collection (via our tools) in classrooms:
    1. Are there any restrictions on this form of data collection? N.B. this is student data collected in schools.
    2. Are there any restrictions on the storage of this form of data?
    3. Are there any restrictions on sharing this form of data with project partners in Europe?
    4. Are there any restrictions on sharing this form of data with project partners outside Europe?
  2. Collecting directly identifiable data (e.g. videos)
    1. Are there any restrictions on this form of data collection?
    2. Are there any restrictions on the storage of this form of data?
    3. Are there any restrictions on sharing this form of data with project partners in Europe?
    4. Are there any restrictions on sharing this form of data with project partners outside Europe?
  3. More broadly - are there any restrictions on sharing anonymised research data within Europe or outside Europe?  FYI The default is that data cannot be transferred outside of Europe.
Note: This could be children's data or adult's data.

If you have copies of relevant legislation/regulations (translated into English), I would appreciate it if you could send me the relevant text (probably a paragraph) with a full reference (document title, page reference and web link).

Many thanks
Carina
