Hello everyone,

I hope you are doing good.

Recently, we have been advised by the Booster team we are in communication with to include some user experiences on our project website to disseminate how our work is received by the end users, teachers and students. To this end, we have embarked on publishing some quotes sent to us by the participants on the following two pages:

  1. Get involved: https://extendt2.eu/call-for-teachers/ (see What our participants say)
  2. Open Learn Course: https://extendt2.eu/open-learn-course/ (see What our participants say)

By the way, we would very much appreciate if you sent us 50-to-60 word quotes of the participants from your countries related to their reflection on their engagement to the Exten(D.T) project and/or Open Learn Course. We can also publish their headshots if they wish to be featured on our site. The following quotes, which are already on our site, may give some ideas for you to know what we are looking for:

Exten(DT)2 Project

"We all really enjoyed the Exten(D.T)2 project. I think breaking down the design process into different steps e.g. empathise and understand etc, allowed the children to reflect on what they were doing throughout the project and made it easier for me to understand too as the educator. It was well-linked to our Geography topic, global warming and gave the children opportunities to develop their research, teamwork skills and presentation skills. We would also definitely consider using these programmes again and linking them to other areas of the curriculum.” (Teacher from the school at Milton Keynes, UK)

Open Learn Course:

"I recently had the opportunity to participate in the "Teaching Design
Thinking with Digital Technologies" course, which enhanced my ability
to solve classroom challenges creatively. The baking cake analogy for
the design thinking model particularly intrigued me, motivating me to
complete the course successfully. This asynchronous, user-centric and
innovative course emphasised experiential learning through a
five-stage process: empathise, define, ideate, prototype, and test
with the integration of digital technologies like nQuire, ChoiCo,
SorBET, MaLT2, and GearsBot, all new to me. I’m deeply grateful to the
Open University, UK for this enriching experience." (
Gobinda Puri, Teacher from Nepal)

Could you send them to us by 8th June, please?

If you have any other thoughts, please let us know.

Best,

Sagun
